i like em feisty.
The chick's Amanda and she's 15 going on 16. (240792:D)
Absolutely in heads over heels in love with bowen drama & debate and of course, her piano/ keyboard/ electone, classical guitar, drums. Definetely not your typical plain jane if that's what you're thinking. She has issues. Her lifetime ambition's to cling, jump and possibly steal food from greedy bystanders while reciting Harry Potter lines and camwhore which sounds sick, but ohwells, that's her:D

Well, the first week of term three has been.. What's that word? Yeah, flat. Chinese oral, check. So there'll be more coming, and yeah, gotta get myself more than prepared. Gears on, check. So just yall know what's happening, DSA has been the thing lately. As in, Mr Chua recently got us filled in on the details and such, and I'm not really sure if i'm really keen. Course, have my doubts and all but I did check up on the JCs and woah, it's 9pts to SAJC now, 11pts to CJC, 18pts to SRJC, just some of the few. But Ben told me students from affiliated secondary schs can have 2pts deducted just for being affiliated, SO, don't really be belitted by the affiliated JCs cut off pts. Count 4pts up and you're still safe. (If you get what I mean..)

And me and mangay looked up polys too, yeah. Just keeping my options open. I'm so gonnna take nautical studies if I'm there, hehehe, and end up sailing Singapore's future ships. WOOHOOO.

ON A LIGHTER NOTE, I just came back from shrimping with my cousin, uncle and sisters. Oh man, it was fun even though I got a bruise on my knee now. We went to upper pierce reservoir and shrimped for shrimps at shallow waters. It was so dark, we were using handphone torchlights and all to see, it was a sight. LOL. And I'm not too bad! And then we had supper at Jalan Kayu, delisssssh. Milo and prataaa.

ON ANOTHER LIGHTER NOTE, I've been singing Always Be My Baby alot in class till I dubbed the chorus into manadrin for mel. (:

Till then. I had my replenished mew saw ick!
c'mon, keep up. Don't let up, it's in me, you know it.

Gahh, so I guess I won't be lazy and update yall in a bit. Okay, so the 5 days in viet was really fun. We stayed in the city, went up to the mountains and came down again. Hmm, gotta say that viets are really polite and friendly people, just don't count on the traffic. It was horrendous, motorbikes are 10 to a car or even more than that and crossing roads are always an adventure. Hahaha. Oh, but the food portion is quite small, they eat lotsa beef, wild boar, pork (with noodles) and fish and they are pretty famous for their coffee. Did taste some, and local snacks and drinks like coconut candy, honey drinks, rice wine (which was bleh). SO! I'll keep the pictures rolling. (:
the guide and my brother. this was on day 2 when we visited two of vietnam's islands.

my brother kept daring me to drink this. it's a real snake with herbs btw.

Cool eh? and you eat it wrapped with rice paper.

this was at kfc. i swear, all the kids dressed the same and it's super weird to the max, like they wore super anime stuff. me and amelia were like *jaw dropped*, and i was too scared to ask for a photo so i only took the back view but seriously, i never thought the length of my hair could be sprayed and gelled up, but now that i've seen it, i've believed it.

This is the hotel we stayed at on the mountains. And because they were once french colonized, building architecture is english styled, some old french buildings like these were renovated to be hotels. And along the roads, we saw many churches and cathedrals. There's an especially big one in the middle of the city so it's really cool. I experienced sucha mix of western european not only in architecture, but also culture (they adopted the driver on the left side of the car thing). But course, you do see kampong houses along the way. Houses are not exactly properly organized so you'll see modern houses next to zinc makeshift houses.(:

the lift that was still in use inside the hotel.

Adelle thought this was the eiffel tower, and yeah, imagine me and my brother's reaction.

Yea, on bored 8hour car trips, I do this.

Yeah, and there are lots more to come. These are only from my phone's camera and I'm waiting for my dad to upload those in his camera. But anyway, I visited the Cu Chi tunnel too which is this 200 square km tunnel which the viets then, hand dug to hide and strategically won the Americans in the war. Really cool stuff, the traps and all, super devious and wow. About a total of 16,000 viets and guerrillas lived in there. And plus, visited the palace that the once king and queen of vietnam once stayed, but had all left and are still living in France, cept that the queen passed away already. Yeah, so that's to sum it all. (:

Oh! Oh! And hating flights so much, (I get dizzy just from the smell of the aircraft, argh,) the return flight was pretty funny. The malay guy making the final annoucement went: "And now we're reaching the garden city, Singapore. The temperature now is hot like me, 31 degrees.." and that got everyone laughing. Haha, nevertheless, I was the third outta the plane. Geez.

I'm at the airport already and it's 0649 now and they made me wake up at 4 and we're so gonna wait for an hour plus cos the flight comfirm delay! Anw, I'm down with a very sore butt. No, seriously. IT'S SORE. MY BUTT IS SORE. MY THIGHS ARE SORE. MY LEGS ARE SORE. AND MY TOES ARE BLISTERED. It's badminton's fault! Haha. Ok, but yesterday was darn fun. With the tai di and the badminton and the sliding with the blue mat and with everyone. LOL.

AND LASTLY, THIS IS NOT THE LAST.

YOU WILL HEAR FROM THE THE AMANDA AGAIN.

I WILL SURVIVE THE.. THHE TERRORS THAT AWAIT ME.

AND I WILL NOT FIND VIETNAM GIRLS.. OR, GUYS, MEL.

Alrighty, be back on the 17th. Miss me amigoes. And if... ifff the terrors shall triumph, warble, you can take more my possesions, assests and wealth.. The, thhee watson shampoo bottle is yours. (:

While me and mangay were watching Sweeney Todd over at my place today... (whoops, it's yesterday cos like 12.42am now and we watched Hairspray before that too.)

mangay: that's borat
amanda: OMG. And he sings?
mangay: yeah. Oh, and that's the guys who plays peter pettigrew and snape.
amanda: OMG, and they sing?
mangay: yeah
amanda: and now johnny depp and snape are singing a duet before depp tries to kill him?
mangay: yeah
amanda: Hmm.. OMG, IF BORAT SING, I CAN SING MAN!
mangay: Hmmm...
amanda: YEAH! I MEAN, BBOOORAT SINGS!? BORAT SINGS?! SINCE WHEN DID BORAT SING? IF BORAT SING, WE CAN SING!
mangay: everyone can sing, the only difference is whether people will run away from you or not.

Oh by the way, the guess the song game during GG Campfire was fun eh? LOL. Ohwells, it was a sight, me and mangay running like no tomorrow. THAT WAS FUN!OMGGG. WE SHOULD DO IT AGAIN:D:D:D. And mangay said if drama should have a campfire, it would be filled with
F words and sex (continued by amanda) and body parts. And I was so imagining ruben do the Ms P. thing when she said that. Hahahaha. OMG, now drama should have a campfire! I can so imagine the kerosene and fire and people flying and everyone would be running mad. Wheeee. Hehehe. Oh gosh, and ruoqi literally climbed the fence that day, I'm really starting to doubt her sanity. Goodness.

And I miss you warble and sticky. you beautiful people are gonna stick with me forever now. [:

& so, i finally realized why my posts lack that bit of me. my life aint complete without you wacked up people. hah!

I've learnt a lesson; never leave your phone on on thursday mornings because an ass of a pig will call and wake you up at 10am for no good reason, telling you he's been abandoned at hougang point and asking you to rescue him. AND RUBEN, IT'S THE FIRST TIME IN 2 WEEKS I'VE BEEN SLEEPING IN SO DON'T MESS WITH MY BEAUTY SLEEP, YOU HEAR?!!!

By the way, yes, I'm still trying to keep the blog alive.

This is when boredom totally stirkes. Or maybe when I've completed abit of chinese. Heee. Anyway, I had fun today walking to jalan kayu, having prata and then visiting seletar camp. It's been ages since I've been there and the last time was when I was about 9 or 10, cycling there with my dad, admiring the reeeaally beautiful houses and telling my dad to buy that house and this house and he'll always say okay. Man, I'll even tell him how I wanted my garden to look like, how I'll finally have my own room and not squeeze with my siblings and this includes my weird mad ambitions, my dreams and all that. I was totally a daddy's girl then. Argghhh, I hate growing up too much, it kinda takes away the intimacy with my parents.

ANYWAY, imagine me as a sporty kid. Me and my dad used to cycle to yishun from our place and back. We used to even have regular jogs together, though I can't quite remember where to anymore. But it was always just me and him. I know, my siblings didn't seem to exist then. And man, I liked it very very much. Or shall I say, I miss it alooootttttt. So, ohwells, relishing childhood memories today, very sweet. Can't wait for the next time at jalan kayu and seletar camp. (:

And I love you daddy. :D (Hah, yeah, someone remind me that when he kills me for my midyear results.)
